Hey y'all!
So, Thursday was my Leep procedure and it went off without a hitch. Thanks for the kind words. Y'all are awesome! Friday, Saturday and Sunday were just lazy days around the house with the kids while The Hub's worked.
I must say, my in-laws are ah-mazing. We normally go over there for dinner on Sunday nights but she made dinner for us all 3 nights. She made sure to make everything {except the rolls and potatoes, which I didn't eat} were Whole30 approved. They even grilled up extra chicken for me to have for lunch over the weekend. I thank the good Lord everyday for sending me awesome in-laws!
I made an uh-oh yesterday. I was really craving some good home cookin'. I've been really really wanting some chicken fried steak with loaded mashed potatoes and macaroni. My body would probably keel over at this point if I stuffed it with all of that yummy stuff though. So I decided to go with spaghetti.
This is where the uh-oh comes in.
So, being in kind of a pinch I grabbed a jar from the pantry. I know what you're thinking Whole30 people...
She's totally not supposed to eat anything from a jar. Nothing.
Yeah, well I did. Suck it.
I read the jar really quick and saw it only had 3 grams of sugar. I thought there was no added sugar. Wrong. Oh well. Live and ya learn, right? According to the Whole30 rules, I'm supposed to start over but that ain't happening. I figure after this Whole30 is up I'm still going to be Paleo for the remainder of my challenge. That's good enough, right? Right.
{sorry for the crappy phone pic}
Here's my dinner. That would be turkey instead of beef. Instead of noodles, I had sauted zucchini. It was actually good. It definitely wasn't pasta but it was good nonetheless.
The squash and zucchini were super easy.
Mix together 2 eggs in a bowl
Coat each piece of chopped squash and zucchini
Lay out in single layer on a pan
Sprinkle with seasons of choice {I used garlic powder, salt, and pepper}
Cook for 12-14 minutes on 350.
That's it. Dinner last night was good and easy. My favorite combo's.
So, I'm not supposed to workout for 2 weeks. I don't know what I'm going to do. Yesterday, I was super restless. Today, I will be going up to the gym to just to walk and mostly to stay in my routine.
Welp friends, it's time for me to go get ready. Hope y'all have a fabulous day!!
